This gingko biloba healthy smoothie recipe will help give you much needed energy in a great tasting drink.

Ginseng

Ingredients:

6 large strawberries

1/2 cup of yogurt

1 cup of whole milk

specified amount of gingko biloba powder( make sure to add only the suggested amount on the container of your gingko biloba powder)

Directions:

Blend the strawberries with the milk and yogurt for 1 minute on low speed, then add the gingko biloba powder and continue blending for an additional minute or until well mixed. Now you can enjoy a very healthy tasting drink.

Thirsty Thursday-Iced Coffee With Ice Coffee Cubes

Ingredients

64 ounces fresh brewed coffee (or however much your coffee pot makes, your favorite, flavored is good too)

64 ounces fresh brewed coffee (or however much your coffee pot makes, same kind as you made the first time)

sugar (optional) or Splenda sugar substitute (optional)
cream (optional)

Directions

   1. Brew regular strength coffee and freeze it in ice cube trays.

   2. Fill tall glasses with the coffee cubes and pour regular strength coffee over them.

   3. Add sugar or cream if desired.

Thirsty Thursday- Mexican Coffee

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups double strength hot gourmet coffee (use 4 tablespoons coffee to 12 oz. of water)
¾ teaspoons cinnamon
4 teaspoons chocolate syrup
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup heavy cream
1 table spoon sugar

Combine cream, nutmeg, sugar and cinnamon then whip. Using four demitasse cups, put 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup in each. Stir the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon into the the hot gourmet coffee. Pour the coffee in the cups and stir. Top with spiced whipped cream. Makes 4 servings.

Thirsty Thursday- Strawverry Low Carb Smoothie Recipe

4 strawberries

1 cup of soy milk

6 ice cubes

1/2 cup low fat yogurt

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together until texture is creamy and smooth. Now you have a low carb smoothie.

Thirsty Thursday- Non Dairy Coffee Smoothie Recipe

This recipe is for a non dairy coffee smoothie.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of coffee chilled

1 tsp of sugar, honey, or chocolate syrup( to flavor to your liking)

6 ice cubes1 banana cut into chunks

Directions:

Blend the coffee with ice cubes and banana till a well blended texture is formed. Add the sweetener if preferred and continue blending. For those who would rather add an ingredient like Coffee Mate, this can be done before hand in the coffee itself.

Thirsty Thursday- Calypso Island Coffee

½ shot of Frangelico Liqueur
½ shot of Malibu Rum

Combine your Frangelico, gourmet coffee and Malibu Rum. Add chocolate then top with whipped cream. Makes 1 serving.

Thirsty Thursday- Hawaiian Smoothie

This is an incredible smoothie with a crazy and diverse mix of fruits that you will find hard to beat when looking for a unique flavor comibination. If you try this one, please email and let me know what you think.

Hawaiian Holiday Smoothie Ingredients:

    * 1 cup passion fruit nectar
    * 1 cup guava nectar
    * 1 cup orange sherbet
    * 4 Tbs. coconut milk
    * 1/2 frozen banana in chunks
    * 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
    * 1/2 cup frozen mango slices
    * 1 cup strawberry yogurt

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients. blend at MIX setting for 30 seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Each recipe serves 3-5.

Thirsty Thursday- Alexander Espresso

Ingredients:

1 c Cold water
2 tb Ground espresso coffee
1/2 ea Cinnamon stick (3″ long)
4 ts Creme de cacao
2 ts Brandy
2 tb Whipping cream, chilled
1 ea Grated semisweet chocolate

Break out your espresso machine for this one or just make really strong coffee w/ a small amount of water.  Break cinnamon stick into small pieces and add to hot espresso. Allow to cool for 1 minute.   Add creme de cacao and brandy, and stir gently. Pour into cute demitasse cups. Whip the cream, and float some cream on top of each cup. For looks, garnish with grated chocolate or fancy chocolate curls. Multiply proportions by six and it’s perfect for a party. Serves 2

Thirsty Thursday- Extra Creamy Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe

This strawberry banana smoothie recipe is a little thicker than others. It uses more yogurt to give a creamier texture.

Ingredients:

6 large strawberries

1 banana

1/2 cup of whole milk

1 cup yogurt(preferabbly strawberry banana yogurt)

Directions:

Blend the banana and strawberries with the milk until smooth then add the yogurt and blend on low for 30 seconds.
